About Me

My photo
Kelvin Wade
I'm a 58 year old Northern California writer who has been writing an opinion column for the Fairfield Daily Republic since 1992. I also wrote for the now defunct iPinion Syndicate (ipinion.us) and I'm the author of MORSELS Vol. 1 and 2, collections of twisted short stories about life and death. I share a home with my significantly better half of 27 years, Cathi, and a Shih Tzu / Poodle named Mazy and a Papihuahua named Cassi. Politically, I'm a nonpartisan free thinker who uses that rare commodity, common sense, to guide my way. I'm a product of a Republican father who spent 30 years in the U.S. Navy and a hardworking, common sense Democratic mother. I'm usually shooting from a left of Center perspective and I make no apologies for my contempt for conservative politicians who fight to keep the Idiocracy in place. But don’t think labels will define me or you’ll be shocked. Also, if you offend easily, this isn’t the place for you.
